Manager unprofessional.
While in the North Academy Panera Bread in Colorado Springs the morning manager on duty was unprofessional and rude on the morning of March 5th, 2010. While conducting a Jewelry presentation that he consented to, he was rude, unprofessional and disrupted us. He made a scene and in the process made the 15 of us uncomfortable. I have been the manager of a bagel and expresso shop and would never even think about ever treating my guests this way. He knew what we were there for and even though we spent over 30 dollars while there, we were still treated with disrespect. Although the food and his employees were friendly I will not be going to that particular shop again. I was very disappointed in my experience there this morning. I deal with people on a regular basis as an information specialist to the thousands of visitors that come here every year and when asked of bagel places to go to that is one location that I will not mention. I realize a lot of these type of businesses are franchises but this manager is representing your company and in essence is making your corporation look bad. I felt that it was important to bring this matter to your attention so that you know what type of people are representing your corporation. I know I would want someone to pay me the same type of respect if it was my company.
Thank You for your time
Sincerely,
Nadine Keaney
Great place for Bagels but not coffee!WHY?. I'm getting ready to try Starbucks again. I started going to Panera's about 2 years ago. Lately we've been going to the store in Pewaukee because it's closer. Why and How can a place like this on a Sat. or Sun. morning run out of 3 different coffee's? Today it happens again, I start eating my bagel and when I go to get Coffee,1 of the 4 pot's is empty. You tell someone behind the counter and it's like - Sorry it'll be ready soon, no big deal to them! What's happened to customer service anyway? An older Gentelman goes up to the counter this morning- AND TELL'S THE GIRL YOU'RE OUT OF COFFEE - SHE ASKS HIM WHAT KIND IS OUT AND HE ANSWERS-3 DIFFERENT KINDS - HE DOESN'T LIKE DECAF EITHER. Question is - Shouldn't someone be in charge of making sure coffee is available or should we bring our own fromsome other establisment? Let me know as i can always go back to Starbucks for coffee.
Fresh-baked goods, fresh-brewed coffee and creative sandwiches served up in relaxed, roomy surroundings..
In Short
Bright colors and comfortable furniture give this chain cafe a laid-back feel, with scattered tables that beckon coffee-sipping readers, chatters and diners. All baked goods--bagels, muffins, two dozen kinds of bread--are made fresh on the premises. Sandwiches include turkey-artichoke panini and Asiago roast beef, plus standards like chicken salad and smoked turkey. Soups change daily, but popular choices like broccoli and cheese, chicken noodle and French onion are always on the menu.
