My family of six for 10 months has been attending classes, testing, and will now attend our first Tournament this weekend with JK Lee Tae Kwon Do. This has been a wonderful investment in the well-being of our family in terms of being encouraging to each other and meeting the challenges of a rigorous curriculum. Young children are praised and encouraged and lower ranked belts are nurtured as they develop their skills and techniques. I have found this to be a great family activity that everyone can be included in and a fabulous way to get an amazing workout and get in shape again! Teaching of children supports children following Home Rules and being respectful and having good behavior at home and at school. Anyone who has a negative word to say has not truly become a part of the JK Lee family. The experience is all positive and one of becoming a better person and a better family. Kids fill out sheets to show Self-Discipline and Acts of Kindness. I love it that it upports character development in my children in a very tangible and rewardable way. Thank you JK Lee!

My family and I have studied Tae Kwon Do with J. K. Lee since March of 2007. My wife and daughter are both black belts and my son is a red belt. I have reached the rank of second degree black belt and in no way was this rank handed to me. I studied hard and worked even harder to get to this rank and am very proud to be associated with such a fine organization. I attend class every night of the week, 3 of those nights to assist in training up and coming belts and 2 nights a week for my own curriculumn. During the year I bring our do-jang out into the community to show there is more to martial arts than kicking and punching. I whole heartedly recommend you give J. K. Lee a try than you can be the judge.

My family and I have been part of the J.K. Lee school and family for the past 8 years and we have had so many positive life changing experiences that I can honestly say that coming here was the best decision I have ever made as a mother. The instructors care about all of their students and want to help them grow not just physically, but in character as well. My teenage daughters, who began as students at age 7 have gained so much skill and confidence as a result of all the positive role models they are surrounded by each and every time they attend class. They get good grades, they have been trained to make good decisions and not fall into peer pressure, and have no fear of public speaking or performance. As junior instructors they have also gained patience and understanding for their fellow students no matter what age and ability and as a result have become excellent role models and leaders themselves. J.K. Lee's has taught them the importance of not just setting goals but actively seeking out what steps they should take to succeed. That is what J.K. Lee's is all about. Self improvement and paying acts of kindness forward. I love J.K. Lee's and would highly recommend that if you are looking for a reputable, quality, martial arts school for you or your family this is the right place to go.

I have been a student at J.K. Lee's for over 7 years, and I've been a black belt there for 4. Not only have my instructors come to know me personally, but the instruction I've received has been outstanding! The skill of students is not based on instruction, as implied in former comments, but on the dedication of the student and their physical ability--things that instructors cannot change. Not only do the students have fun in class, but they are learning and making friends at the same time. As for the adults, J.K. Lee's is a very family oriented environment where adults can spend time with their kids and just with other adults! And besides teaching martial arts skill, they also plant the ideas of integrity, perseverance, confidence, courtesy, respect, and overall self-discipline.

I highly recommend J.K. Lee's because of the wonderful care and instruction I and my fellow classmates have received in the time we've been there...We do work hard for what we do, and our skill level is extraordinary because of the excellent teaching and environment. J.K. Lee's is my family, and I love it there!

Assembly line black belts. I studied martial arts for five years in my younger days, so when I was looking for a dojo for my son I went to several different ones. We've been to JK Lee several times for birthday parties and tried their "one month free program." In short: overcrowded classes where kids spend most of their time waiting for a turn, and little attention to teaching technique. I saw high-ranking students with terrible technique in even the basics. Make sure you ask about hidden fees: LOTS of ranks, with a test fee for each. I give them full points for marketing effectiveness, though.

Stay Away!. I did not enjoy my time spent at J K Lee. Instruction was minimal - and even worse is they didn't seem to care about the students they already have. They were worried about signing up more students then offering quality instruction.
