After finishing a half sleeve with Laurent Marin at Adambomb Tattoo on MLK in Milwaukee, Wi I couldn't help but not write a review, which is very unlike me. I was referred to Laurent by a good friend and after first contacting Laurent have built such great rapport. Laurent was willing and eager to accommodate what I had in mind for a tattoo and his attention to detail was just spot on. He always made sure I was comfortable each session. Adambomb is a clean shop, everything being single use and the atmosphere was so personable yet still professional. I honestly get stopped daily by clients of mine and strangers inquiring about my tattoo. Laurent is a very talented tattoo artist and I can not wait to continue working with him. Thank you so much Laurent Marin, see you soon!

Unprofessional. Rude. Disrespectful.. I had two pieces done by Adam.

Yes, he's talented. His work is amazing.

However, he's REALLY difficult to communicate with.

I live in LA now, and I tried to set-up an appt, and he offered to do a design. I changed my mind and wanted a more elaborate piece- THREE months before the actual appt. He told me to email him my new idea for the tattoo.

I did. NO RESPONSE.

I called and left a message. NO RESPONSE.

I emailed again. NO RESPONSE.

I called, and we spoke... He said he'd email me that night. NO RESPONSE.

I called about a month before the actual appt, and I asked if everything was ok, and he flew off the handle.

I told him I appreciated his previous work, yet I needed to cancel the appt.

HIS RESPONSE was calling me a F*CKER and then hanging up the phone.

Best Tattoo Shop in Milwaukee. Laurent from Adambomb did my first tattoo on November 1st 2008. It was my first tattoo so I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect. I searched around on Google for the best tattoo shop reviews and found that Adambomb has the best experiences and ratings that I could find. Not only did Adambomb's website look awesome but the artists? sketches were amazing.

I was only looking to get a simple designed tattoo, all in black and the work of Adam and the artists at his shop were very detailed and artistic. So I email Adam asking him if the tattoo I wanted was too simple for what kind of work he wanted to do. He emailed me back immediately and said that they would definitely take the work, no matter the size or difficultly. Adam unfortunately was booked for a couple months and I wanted to get my tattoo within a week or two, so he recommended me to their new French tattoo artist, Laurent. I stopped into the shop to meet Laurent and he was the cutest nicest guy I ever met.

He listened to what I wanted and custom drew a tattoo for me. I felt very comfortable after I gave him the ideas of what I wanted. I emailed Laurent a couple time with concerns I had, only because it was my first tat, and he emailed me back promptly and was very patient with me.

On Saturday I headed into the shop to get this done! Laurent showed me the design he drew and I almost cried...It was perfect. He started doing the tattoo and I thought I was going faint...yeah I am a pretty big baby...but Laurent made me comfortable, even set up a table for me to lay on, and was careful, took his time and really took my feelings into consideration. He made it a great and memorable experience. The tattoo is perfect and exactly what I wanted. Thank you Laurent!

Phenomonal Work!. I highly recommend! I had a very difficult tattoo designed by an exceptional artist, Amy Brown. It was my first tattoo, which goes without saying that I was very leery about permently marking my body. I was very concerned with the detail being perfect. In the end, Adam exceeded my expectations and made the experience very comfortable! Great Job!

I don't think I agree. I don't think I agree with the other reviewer. I am sorry he had a less than pleasant experience with this tatoo gallerie, but I have to disagree. I got two pieces done a couple of years ago and have since moved away from Milwaukee. I have been eager to get more work done, but have been holding off until I have time to return to Milwaukee so I can go to Adambomb. Adam did my work and he was the most curtious person I have probably ever interacted with in a professional sense. The atmosphere was also very relaxed and calming My tatoos are amazing and I have gotten more compliments on them work than I know what to do with. Because of my experience I have become a lifer of this establishment. I highly recommend this tatoo gallerie to anyone looking for an amazing piece of body art.

Skilled Art but Unprofessional. The skill level for the tattoo artists is second to none. However one tattoo artist was particularly unprofessional and passive aggressive in a few email exchanges. I was very pleased with my initial tattoo but while contacting the artist about additional work he was very rude. Steer clear!
