H&R Block - Avoid Them. f you can avoid using H & R Block you should. Their published fees are completely bogus. They first get you to sign something that their fee is $39.00 but don't tell you that it is a base fee and they will charge you for every possible form they can. I ended up with a $500 bill for less than 45 minutes work for a relatively straightforward tax preparation. A total rip-off. Totally misleading. Horrible service. Find a nice independent account instead. I will never let anyone I know use H & R Block - they represent the worst of possible business practices I have ever experienced!
