Third Street Pier Restaurant is CLOSED!. CLOSED ! Was once a nice place, but service and food quality had really gone down hill. Another restaurant is now in the space.
Terrible Service & Raw Food. I went to the 3rd Street Pier with a group of 9. We had a reservation for 7:30 and we did not leave until 10:15. The time between our appetizer and meal was 40 minutes! The service was terrible! Three out of the nine meals that we ordered were not done and had to be sent back. A chicken dinner that had been sent back because it was bloody on the inside was returned on the same plate! I would not advise anyone to visit The 3rd Street Pier.
Perfect!. My wife and I were in Milwaukee from Chicago for the Jerry Seinfeld show and Chris at the Pfister Hotel reccomended this restaurant. From the moment they picked is up at the hotel we were impressed by the genuine attitude of the driver. It was a full house when we arrived and the gentleman at the desk informed us that it would be 10 minutes for a table, so we went to the bar for cocktail. I saw another review about the great bartenders, these guys were fun and professional. Dinner was outstanding! Our waiter Nick did a great job of guiding us through the impressive selection of fresh fish. After dinner they drove us to the show and after the show took us back to our hotel. Total Service! Perfect! I haven't found a place that goes out of their way like this, even in Chicago.
Best in Town. I have never been more impressed with a restauraunt in Milwaukee. From the moment my fiance and I arrived we were treated like royalty. The service was outstanding. The food was amazing, both in presentation and flavor. The three bartenders that I met were witty, professional, and comical. And for all this, the price was very reasonable. If you are looking for seafood and an excellent dining experience, you have to try the Thirs St. Pier.
Great Seafood, Great People!. Without a doubt the place to go for fresh seafood in Milwaukee. No other restaurant has attempted to offer Fresh Seafood on the scale that Third Street Pier is. I was here 3 years ago and thought it was ok, but nothing spectacular. Now its like a completely different restaurant. We had such a great time, the halibut was the best iIve ever had and my wife loved the Blue Nose Grouper, flown in from New Zealand. The waiter told us that the menu is reprinted as often as neccessary as the seafood is always changing. After dinner we went to the dockside bar and had the best time listing to this little jazz band and the barenders were a riot - professional, but over the top friendly. If you havent ever been or you haven't been in a while, you need to check it out.
If you have money to throw away.... I have two words for anyone thinking of eating at Third Street Pier - STAY AWAY! While the location itself is beautiful (waterfront view and nicely appointed dining area), the food was a joke! It was BLAND and overpriced. After flying practically all day I couldn't bring myself to finish my food. Words cannot describe how disappointed I was along with the rest of my table. On top of that, our server had such an "air" about her that she gave us a bad taste in our mouths before the food even touched our palates. Consider yourself warned.
