Worst Place On Earth. The staff here is lazy and rude. Every time you call or talk to them they act like they are doing you a favor. They treat people like garbage because their pets get lost. I have also known people who could not afford to pay all the hundreds of dollars in fees to get their pet back and madacc tells them they have to come up with it in 7 days or they will kill the animal, no payment plan or anything. I also used to foster for them. On THREE occasions I told them I would foster a specific kitten. Then when the 7 days were up I expected to foster the kittens but found out they killed them instead! Someone made a mistake, oh well. No one gets fired for that!? These people are sick. Please do everything you can to NOT bring any animals to them. There are lost and found pet ads on craigslist you can use.

MADACC is a KILLING Business!. The county of Milwaukee has a contract with all animal shelters in Milwaukee County saying that any animal brought in not as a "personal surrender", meaning it is your pet & you are turning it over, has to legally go through MADACC first. They tax the 19 municipalities of Milw. County based on the head count from each zip code, & the kill over 50% of pets brought in. They killed over 7,000 lost or adoptable pets in 2010 alone! Cats & kittens have a 70% kill rate! There are many accounts of bad things happening due to staff laziness & rebelling against the public by euthanizing out of spite, losing paperwork, & changing the rules, so to speak, based on who they are dealing with, & whether they feel like helping or not. It is an "Animal Control" facility funded by our taxes, NOT A SHELTER! They do not advertise to go there to find a lost pet or that they do adoptions. Horrible Place. Please people dont bring your animals there cause if animal is not claimed in 7 days they will put it to sleep. They will not be safe there bring them to the humane society where they will be safe.
