don't go! don't eat there. Here's the deal. First off the menu has changed so many times it has no personality. The food (currently) is a wannabe upscale fine dinnig along with the prices. Who wants to pay $16 dollars for a blue chez mac n chesse? At least make it gorgonzola. Go to their website (if it's even updated). I believe the hype on the brunch there is a crock of milwaukees' worst restaurant analysts. You can get a dish out there for half the price. There is so much more even the inspections fail. Don't go. Find a better place to impress.

Charged my card 3 times, expensive, hidden charges. This place has been renovated six times. One would think that it would improve at least slightly, but the overall experience just is not worth the money that you could spend somewhere else. The food is average, at best. The menu is pretty scant, and the prices are high. The drinks are especially costly, and they are always trying to upsell you to the next highest liquor. They don't tell you anything costs more. For example, if you ask for a side of ketchup, that costs you .75, but if you use the ketchup on the table, it's free.

The service is SMOTHERING and sloppy.

When I ate there, they charged my card THREE times for one meal. They were three different amounts as well. I had to then wait until the money was credited to my Visa, $150! The sever never mentioned to me that she swiped my card more than once.

I would suggest that you save your money and head to somewhere less expensive with better service, or take your money to an equally pricey restaurant and at least have great service.

New Trocadero!. I had dinner at Trocadero a few days after open. There was a nice crowd. 2 bars were open, one on the main floor and one upstairs, both pretty rockin'! They pulled away from there mojitos to make AMAZING margaritas ( from scratch apparently! ) Not only the margaritas but almost the whole menu is made from scratch!?!? you can definitely taste it!!! YUM!

Best Brunch in Milwaukee. I ate the Breakfast Burger. Awesome! It's literally a giant cheeseburger with scrambled eggs on it. I was visiting family in Milwaukee and this was my sister's recomendation. She's big on brunches so I followed her lead. Trocadero has plenty of traditional brunch options in the French style. Make sure you have breakfast potatoes with whatever you get. The Bloody Mary is better in Milwaukee than any other city in the U.S. and Trocadero stands in with plenty of options here too. Throw a couple of those down!

Good outdoor dining; good brunch. I like the restaurant for brunch and after work and weekend drinks. The summer atmosphere is great. The food is pretty good but make sure you look at the menu before dining. If you are in the mood for crepes, you will not be disappointed. If you think the menu suits your tastes, you will enjoy your dining experience.
