Service changes as New Owner has taken over. If you liked it when Bobby owned it, you should visit SOHO 7.

I don't know why people think they can treat their customers with such disregard, but they do at Centannis now.

Well now that Joe is back playing the piano, maybe things will turn around.

Who wants to give their hard earned money away at this point, just to hear a piano and have rude service.

Not me.

AWFUL. this place is terrible. The one good thing about it is that if you make the mistake of coming here you will be close enough to other places that you can still have a great night. STAY OUT OF THIS PLACE you will regret wasting your time in this atmosphere!

The Worst. The staff was extremely rude... the place was dead..... I agree with the last poster. Times are too tough right now to spend money at a place like this. When I find the time to go out I like to be greeted and treated equally by the staff of the places I choose. I did not feel like they provided a comfortable or fun atmosphere. I actually left after I overheard one of the staff memebers talking about some oher customers in a not so nice wayand felt compelled to write this review which I really do not do often. Anyway save your time money for somewhere with less attitude-

Rude staff. The staff at Centanni is a joke. They are unwelcoming and rude. this place was empty for the first two hours I was there.... I should have left and taken the emptiness as a warning. However, I stayed and I have never regretted anything more.... the staff was so rude about everything and when i asked why I was geting short rude service ( like having to walk up and ask for a drink when I reserved a table, which by the way is unecessary reserving a table means you will pay more for the same thing as someone who walks in) the place is not busy enough to need a reservation.... anyway they told me that someone like myself would be better suited on brady street..... I simply laughed as I have a degree from UCLA and am a practicing family doctor.. I appreciated that Angela felt she was above me and suggested some other places for me to go ... especially since I will be going to those other places and anywhere else in Milwaukee that is not Centanni . She should be fired as I am pretty sure telling customers you don't care if they come back is bad for business I hope the owner thinks differently

Prententious and boring. Centanni is a upscale piano bar in the third ward I had heard a lot of good things, however when I went there for so called ladies night last week it was a complete joke. I made reservations to have a table. My reservation was taken and that was it. I was not told anything about the extra fees and hassle I was going to have to deal with. when I arrived for "ladies night" the place was dead I let them kno I had a reservation and they said ok and let me pick any of the empty tables... the bar stayed empty until i was getting ready to leave with my party of seven at about midnight and that's when the bill came they had put everythign one one card " for my convenience" when i told her that wasn't convenient for me she said well it makes it easier ( for who me or the waitress) then I noticed the 33% gratuity that had been added on..... I am guessing that was for the waitress who was working so hard to deal with all of our tabs..... ( oh thats right she didn't do anything) I was left to split up the bill amongst everyone and pay her 33% when I mentioned to the manager I felt that I should have been told and I did not think that just springing this on the customer was very good business she called myself and out party a joke and asked us never to make reservations again. I said I wouldn't as the place was dead and reservations seemed unecessary she then told me we didn't spend enough money ( 190.00) to really make her worry if we didn't come back......... It was a horrible experience and I have never felt so bullied by a restaurant. I will never go back.

I Love Centanni!. I have been to many times and absolutely love the place. The music, service, and atmosphere are all great! As far as Thursdays(ladies night), if you read the menu it clearly states that the drink specials are for SINGLE LADIES. Its a shame that some people can't follow the rules and feel the need to bash the staff because of it. Maybe Brady street is a better place for someone so cheap and crass.

Great service and atmosphere!. I was in Milwaukee with two co-workers and Centanni was suggested as a place to see with only one night in town. The hotel bellman that suggested it was right on. We went in after dinner on a Tuesday night. Being a Tuesday night the crowd was pretty light but that was no indicator of the experience. Chad, the bartender was top notch. He was engaging and relaxed and on top of it all is a fantastic bartender. He was coming up with drinks to suit the two ladies that I was with after a vague description of what they wanted. Part of what brought us there was that it is a piano bar. Tuesdays is 80s night and the music was fantastic. People were singing along and dancing. The piano player was improving and re-writing songs for some of the ladies in the bar, including one of my co-workers. "Hold Me Closer Tiny Dancer" will never be the same for us! Centanni is a must if you are in Milwaukee! Stop in and say "Hi" to Chad.

Poor service, don't expect more. The wait staff is weak. Thursdays is Ladies night. Ladies Be sure it you are with your husband, you use your own credit card. If not, you will be charged the full price with your husband's card. even though it is the same account. The wait staff does not care.. Nor does the manager... By the way,do not comment on the poor service, or you will be harrassed to leave by the manager because the poor wait staff has whined about the complaint. So be ware.. Pay the price or don't visit their establishement. Poor service and management. Get some Service. suggestions, are go to Brady steet. More fun, half the price and no attitude or poor service. We are your business get with the picture CENTANNIS!!! Lose the BIMBOS

Most fun place in Milwaukee to drink, dance and hear awesome music. Centanni is where I go when I get back to Milwaukee. It has a great atmosphere, staff is excellent, but most of all, Joe who plays piano there is fantastic. Of course the collection of Cougars is always worth checking out along with their younger sisters! The place is a great time.

This is the spot!. I love coming here for the warm, happening atmosphere. Its great to people-watch here, they have a HUGE martini list with some creative, different drinks that you don't find everywhere else. I recommend Old Devil Moon (blended dark chocolate martini), this malted milk ball martini (can't remember the name, but a blended malted milk ball martini!), and My Way - a fruity orangy martini. The piano guys are fun, especially the ever-famous Joe Hite. He can play ANYTHING and he does it well!

The only thing that stinks here is that it can get extrememly packed, extremely loud and its kind of a wierd layout, so its really an obstacle to make your way to the restrooms through the packed room, or anywhere for that matter. But then again, its all good fun once you have a few drinks in you!
