Better Business... Impressed. I was just in at American Laser Centers before Christmas. I have heard that that they used bad sale tactics. I was not interested in any packages but just wanted to see what everyone had been reviewing. I was impressed. The assistant manager said she was originally from another office but has now transferred. She was very polite and professional. She introduced me to the technicians, explained the expectations in detail, and did not pressure me at all. I did have medical concerns so she advised me to see my doctor before starting any treatments. I do have a friend that decided to sign up. She has gone through one treatment and is already seeing reduction! She also stated that there has been an upgrade in technology to the laser. I was leary from the reviews but I felt the experience was very good.
Editorial Review. Offers laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments which target pigmented lesions, spider veins and help to eliminate fine wrinkles.
Don't fall for it!. After I supposedly won a $300 I quickly realized how they probably offer that to all their customers to draw them into the office. Unfortunately, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and still purchased a $2300 package almost 3 years ago. After going through my 6 "highly recommended" treatments (according to them) and didn't see any results, I continued on with my "2 years" of 7 week interval touch-ups. I repeatedly told NUMEROUS technicians (numerous is an understatement, I'll expand on that shortly) that I haven't been seeing results and they just kept blowing me off. I actually had one technician tell me that whoever sold me the package had lied to me and needless to say, I never saw her again after that. The American Laser Center is an open door in terms of their employment. One technician after another came and went. I actually started to really like a few of them, but since they couldn't reach their "commission" quota selling me their other products, they were once again gone. After they started using their laptop check-in process, not one single technician asked me if my current prescriptions were up to date. With that said, I went to my 2nd to last treatment and nearly jumped out of my skin when they kept pulsing me with the laser. I mentioned this to the technician who just put the laser on the lowest setting possible....I mentioned how odd that was considering my last treatment 7 weeks before was on the "highest" level. Needless to say, I later found out that the antibiotic that I was on was photosensitive. If the technician would have only asked me what new prescriptions I was on, I would not have had to endure 15 minutes of torture. I also find it very odd that the two people before me who rated this company gave them each a 1 star, but for some reason it still shows the company as a 4 star. DO NOT go to the American Laser Center....worst financial investment I ever made!
Horrible experience. Signing up with this company was the worst decision I've made in a while. They are high-pressure and sneaky during the consultation. I wanted to pay up front using my own credit card, but the manager assured me that using their plan would be the same except I could make two payments. After a couple of weeks, I was shocked to receive a credit card in the mail with very high rates. I called the office to find out what was going on, but they did not pick up. The message said they had a 'high volume" of calls. Ridiculous. They did not return my call for two weeks. At that point, I had a late fee and other fees added to the credit card I didn't want and didn't realize they had signed me up for. I wholeheartedy advise anyone considering using this company for services to save themselves money and frustration by going with a different company.
Surprise your stuck!. Terrible- went in for a "consultation" felt EXTREMELY pressured so agreed to make an appointment. Went through all health paper work and information. Called to cancel appointment because it was very expensive!! They then tell me I can't do that and I'm in a contract that no one told me about. Interesting- well my lawyer can't seem to find this hidden contract through the paper work I have either. They're full of it and now I'm stuck with a $2,000.00 bill for a lazer hair removal that I never recieved. Terrible bussiness
