Little Cancun

Little Cancun, Franklin, WI. There are many Mexican restaurants in the Milwaukee area. This specific restaurants failed, hands down. At first glance, this restaurant reminded me of something you would see off of the highway by a gas station or something. After we entered, we were seated in a booth. I didn't care for the interior at all. I ordered a margarita and she ordered a daiquiri. The staff was very quick at bringing us our drink order. My margarita was good, however, her drink had no flavor. The chips came but there was no real salsa. When we go to a Mexican restaurant, we're always presented with chips and salsa as soon as we sit down. Not a big deal though.

For our appetizer, we ordered the jalapeno poppers. I had the #21 and she ordered the chicken enchiladas. Some of the jalapeno poppers were cold in the middle. When our food came, the presentation did not look good at all. The refried beans were extremely pale (no color) and were chunky. The rice was bland. The enchiladas were very mushy like something out of a TV dinner. They lacked any real flavor. We both think all of the food was frozen (at least the poppers were). My entree was lacking. The chunks of steak were cut very thin and the taste was odd.

At the end of the meal, we were both feeling queezy. Even while writing this review, we both feel a little sick to our stomachs. The bill came out to $39. We were extremely disappointed with this place. When I told the cashier about the jalapeno poppers, she gladly took half off of that order.

All in all, we will not be visiting this place again. We could have went to a fast food restaurant for 10% of the price and had better service/quality of food. There are a lot of good Mexican restaurants in the area, this is not one of them.  View Less … View More

was our fav...but not anymore!. This restaurant use to be our favorite and visit often. Upon a visit this week we were very disappointed for several reason. We all place our order and placed and order for a Chimichanga dinner with chicken. When our food came out I was brought Flautas. I said I ordered chimichangas. She snatched the plate from me and handed it to bartender and host to eat while i sat there with NOTHING while everyone else ate. 10 minutes went by and i was like "can i at least get my rice and beans" (a good waitress would've left the original plate there). Another 5 minutes went by and a lady brought out my food...i asked if I could just have it put in a box because everyone else was already finished.

The original waitress then brought out my boxed food and said " i thought you ordered a #29. I said "at no time did I give you a number and Chimichanga sounds VERY different from Flauta". She then rolled her eyes at me...never a sorry or anything. Then she brings us our bill. Not even a partial credit for me not being able to enjoy my meal. Then she comes back 2 minutes later and says she was sorry but she forgot to charge us for a soda....EXCUSE ME! You messed up my meal that I will now eat cold or reheated and paying $9.75 for and you want to nickel and dime a soda?????

We will NEVER eat at this place again! Not even a sorry, or a manager came by. In fact, the host bouncer looking guy sat there the entire time starring at our table as if to intimidate us.
