rehearsal dinner. We hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Libiamos this weekend. We were so happy with the event and pleased to be working with Dean and his staff as they accommodated our every request. The pasta bar was delicious as were the appetizers. We added the mini-Italian beef sandwiches to the pasta bar and they were also yummy. Another great thing about having a party at Libiamos is all of the free parking. It was a wonderful evening for all of us to get to know each other and prepare for the wedding day. And as a bonus, the price was right.
One of our favorite restaurants!.
The atmosphere is cozy. The owner is usually the one who greats you and takes you to your table. We go to Libiamos regularly and the owner remembers us which makes us fell part of the Italian family that owns and operates this restaurant.
I have to very, very strongly disagree with foodlover's comment. The food is delicious! The menu offers dishes you are unlikely to see somewhere else such as a spedini panini and Grandma's meat loaf (two kinds of cheeses and an excellent tomato sauce; moist and flavorful). The tiramisu is the BEST I have ever had, hands down. The service is always excellent.
Everyone I have taken to this restaurant or recommended this restaurant too has raved about it. If someone unfamiliar with Milwaukee restaurants and wants excellent italian food I always strongly recommend Libiamos.
Absolute worst meal we've ever had.
Good atmosphere - but this was the absolute worst meal my wife and I have ever had. Really. I'm not being dramatic here, and my wife and I do not have extremely high standards.
Service was good - it is a neat place.
Great atmosphere!. This restaurant is located in the Historic Schlitz Brewery Building . The atmosphere is amazing! There is so much great woodwork around the place and there is a great history to it. The bartenders were very nice and talkative. I also here there is a great fish fry on Friday's. We went on a Sunday evening for appetizers and drinks. I had a cider beer and ordered some tomato basil bread appetizers. Great food and I was impressed by the way the entire bar/restaurant looks.
