My wife and I hoped to enjoy a rare
date night. Mama Mia's in Port wasn't our first choice but we ended up there because the restaurant we wanted to try was closed. The service was ok, but not exceptional; the food was anything but exceptional, not even good. We started with Mama Mia's "Classic Antipasto Salad" one of their signature dishes. It consisted of iceberg lettuce, 3 slices of what looked like pepperoni, a couple sliced black olives and perhaps three peppers, topped with some shredded, apparently pre-packaged mozzarella cheese. When we commented on the "antipasto salad", our server told us, "that is how Jude (the owner) wants it" We also ordered a pepperoni pizza, hoping that the pizza would salvage the dinner. unfortunately, it too was incredibly disappointing. Crust was hard and seemed to be coated in corn meal, apparently so hard that the server couldn't even slice through it so that every piece we tried to take from the pie, ended up tearing and breaking in half. I've had much better frozen pizza than this. Again, after commenting to the server about the quality of the food, her only reply was, "that's how Jude wants it". After paying our $35 check, we stopped at PickN'Save to buy a bottle of wine to finish the evening. While there, we realized we could have purchased a nice bottle of wine and a great frozen pizza (Home Run Inn) for a fraction of what we spent at this restaurant. We will never go back and suggest that you don't waste your time or money either.

DITTO - DON'T GO HERE.
I wish I didn't have to give it a star at all... Totally disappointing. Upscale prices for low-quality food. Let me sum it up for you: Flat beer. Pre-made, hard, cardboard crust for pizza, very little sausage, bland sauce, taste's like Totino's 99-cent pizza. Overdone chicken, over-seasoned with oregano, barely edible. Garlic bread has no garlic. Seriously. It didn't. Dripping in butter-flavored oil. Terrible and dry. Did not even have appropriate take-home wrap. Everything got foiled. We will never eat here again. Spent wayyyyyy too much. Got wayyyyyy too little.

Mama Mias in Port Washington.
The food was okay and the service was okay. We ordered large pizzas, appetizers and drinks, ate our dinner and when our bill came we noticed it was substantially higher than what the menu prices were. We asked to talk to the manager and she started telling us prices are subject to change she wouldn't even consider honoring the prices on the menu. After spending almost $150 for the family dinner you might think the manager could give us a break!!!! With in the increase in prices on your menu maybe you should invest in another ream of paper and some ink and update your menu!!!! We wouldn't step foot into that place if it was the last restaraunt left!!!!!!!

don't bother.
The staff here is consistently inconsistent, and they do a lot of complaining openly about the owner. I got garlic bread as a take out, and it leaked butter ALL over my front seat. Ridiculous. The lasagna sucks. There is NO visible meat in the meat lasagna, all it consists of are noodles and tomato sauce. I wouldn't waste my time OR my money on this place. The ambiance is also horrible. Buffet is weak. Brookfield Mama Mia's ROCKS!!!! They could teach this place a thing or two (or three).
