Awesome Baby Awesome - March Madness. Offering free valet parking, coat check, and a booth with comfortable leather was a great start. We ordered bone-in kona crusted ribeye and kona crusted filet mignon which arrived medium and was delicious and perfect. Ordering French Onion soup with 3 cheese and the Capitol Grille salad with house made croutons and olive vinaigrette dressing was an excellent choice. Mac and cheese with lobster was unique and tasty as was the creamed spinach. Our waiter Spirit was so knowledgeable and attentive. He mentioned some of the sides are available in half portions which is not stated on the menu. A side would be enough to share for two. My special friend's favorite ice cream is vanilla so I was excited because it is home made. It was so good along with a side of hot fudge. I am so glad we came to Capitol Grille because it was a memorable experience - but the best thing was being with my special friend. We will be back!…
LOVE THIS PLACE!. The Capital Grille stays true to form no matter which location you are visiting. I love this place! The steak is incredible. Lobster mouth watering. Creamed Spinach, Tom and Mozz Salad, Potatoes- oh i could go on and on. They really treat you with respect as you dine.…

My Fiance' and I just moved out to Milwaukee recently from Los Angeles we are use to very good high end quality restaurants with superb service. One night we decided to have a romantic dinner for 2.
We were driving around and found the Capital Grille. The food and service was amazing...we had one of the best nights we have ever had. From the minute we walked in through the doors. All the staff was superb!!! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great time at a place that treats you as if you were the owner :) I would definitly recommend Jeff as a waiter that you should have, he made our experience their amazing :)

Great first experience.
Having read several excellent reviews of The Capital Grille in Milwaukee, I decided to make reservations there to celebrate our anniversary. I did so online and was pleasantly surprised that we had a
specially prepared table waiting for us. There was lots of attention to details, including some complimentary treats throughout the evening. These were nice touches that really added much to our special evening. The food was very good (although my Kansas City strip wasn't as superb as I had hoped: the prosciutto-wrapped scallops was a dynamite appetizer, the small filet was custom prepared to be crusty on the outside and medium on the inside and the mashed potatoes were wonderful.
If you are looking for a total dining experience, The Capital Grille will meet or exceed your needs. We will definitely be back.…
Best steak for the buck !. I have been working in Milwaukee for the past 6-months from Dallas, Tx and I would definitely recommend the Capital Grill in Milwaukee. Coming from Dallas where we pride ourselves on steak and chop houses, I have had none better than Capital. I visit Capital every week or two and the hostesses are always gracious, the wait staff is all very knowledgeable and they always greet me by name. The restaurant is clean, service is great and the food preparaton is outstanding. I highly recommend ordering the Kona crusting on any cut of steak. They have an extensive wine selection to go with any meal with a price range to meet any budget. I have tried other steak places in the Milwaukee downtown area but when I evaluate the quality of the food and experience for the price Capital wins hands down. Ask for Rachael as your server and you will never be disappointed.…
