Oakcrest Tavern

Great Burgers and Fish Fry. I do not know where some of the other reviewers are coming from. We have been dining at Oakcrest since they opened. We have never had a sub-par meal or bad service even during times of mad rush. By the looks of the lines waiting to eat or at the bar for social time tells me that some of the other reviewers walk into a restaurant with a negative attitude or had a bad day to begin with.

I do not venture far off the path on what I usually order--(my bad) but the burgers, chicken pastas, french onion soup and the fish fry options are fantastic.

Rick and his staff are friendly, prompt and create a homey atmosphere that is extremely welcoming and accomodating. We will continue to support this establishment.…

Do not go here. Manager approached our table before our whole party arrived and informed us three times that we had to buy something - Could have used more tact or waited for the rest of our party to arrive before approaching.…

Better off going to Harry's. I've tried the tavern a few times. The food is good, especially the Fish Fry. I would order take out but I will NEVER dine in again! The service is slow and inattentive, and if you don't like something you better keep your mouth shut unless you want the owner to come over and talk to you about it forever.

Also on one occasion when I was there close to kitchen close, two servers were eating off plates in the food window. Thankfully I already had my order but I can't say the same for the others in the dining room...Gross!…
