Not so great.
First of all, I ate at Ethiopian Cottage right after it opened so it may have improved. My expectations are probably a little high from eating in fine Ethiopian restaurants in big cities. My entree was literally inedible. After waiting 30 minutes, the waitress finally came to our table to inform us that they didn't have any of that great Ethiopian coffee we ordered, but they did have a special spiced tea. Ok, great. She comes back in the middle of the meal with the salad that I ordered as an appetizer--which was just diced tomato. No salt, no lemon, no pepper--just chunks of tomato. I ordered the beef tibs which smelled like week-old stew chunks with no flavor except for huge twigs of rosemary. Fortunately, we also ordered a vegetarian platter which was spicy and fairly good. Near the end of the meal, the waitress finally brought out our beverages--Lipton tea. When I asked her why she said it was spiced tea, she said that yes, it was Lipton, but since they stored it near the spices and coffee it was "spiced." I gave her an extra few dollars for her remarkable balderdash. To wit, blech.
