Fabulous little gem!. The cafe is quite the little gem. It is often overlooked because of the sheer size and publicity of the Mineshaft, but the Hartford Cafe has far superior food. They used to be a breakfast/lunch diner with dinner only on Fish Fry Friday. …

Great little place.. One of Hartford's only alternative to the mineshaft for a sit down meal. Nicely decorated, quite, non-smoking environment and great food too. Not as cheep as the mineshaft but well worth the extra $1 for a burger and they have free refills…
