I cannot stress enough how terrible Heim's Bridal has been. I went in to order a bridesmaid dress, gave the style number and color I needed. The girl at the counter showed me a photo of the dress and I confirmed it was the correct one. When I went to pick up the dress 3 months later, they had ordered the wrong one! This seems to be a frequent issue based on the other reviews. They ordered me a chiffon, long dress and I needed a short, satin dress... completely wrong. When I explained it was wrong they told me since I signed the order form, there was nothing they could do. The description on the order form was correct but they girl who worked there wrote down the wrong 8 or 10 digit sku number. Of course I don't know their sku numbers so I never questioned it. I just assumed I told them what I need, they showed me a photo, it was correct, and they ordered it.
To make matters worse, they would not return my money and I had no dress. It was too late to order a new dress and I ended up having to buy a similar dress online at the last minute. The owner would not speak to me or my lawyer and pretended to not speak english. I did prove to the manager Bernice that it was their employees fault because the description matched the photo she showed me. She agreed with me but had no control becuase she had to follow what the owner (Asian woman) said. I ended up disputing it with my credit card company and contacting the BBB. I would hate for anyone to ever have this happen to them. It was very stressful and I cannot imagine what I would have done if it were my bridal gown. I had to stand up in my best friend's wedding in a different dress. That will forever be shown in photos and caused me and the bride more stress than should ever be put on someone. Please, for your own peace of mind, do not go to Heim's Bridal.
