I had a coupon for this place for tire rotation, oil change, and fluids check. It took almost an hour and a half and they told me that I needed a new air filter but then spent another 15 minutes trying to call around to parts stores to locate them until I finally told them I would just hold off on the air filter. When I left I noticed they had tripped up my viper alarm system by using the key instead of the key fob although I had told the cashier guy to write down the alarm system instructions on the order ticket.
When I got home I noticed they had not rotated my tires at all although that was the whole reason I had gone in there. When I called to tell them they had not rotated the tires, the manager on duty said that the tire rotation was a free service (implying that that meant they didn't have to do it). He then checked with the technician as to why the tires weren't rotated, and came back saying that the reason they weren't rotated was because I needed new tires. I asked him then didn't he think it would have been a good idea to tell me I needed new tires since after all they are a tire store and even if I needed new tires, it still would extend the life of the old ones if they rotated them. Since I was getting no where with the manager, I asked to speak to the technician who worked on my car directly. After some discussion about the tread wear on my tires, the technician admitted that I actually probably had 6 months left on my tires so probably didn't really need to replace them.
I had to bring my car back the next day to get my tires rotated. I tend to be very understanding with people and realize that mistakes happen; however, I was completely unimpressed with the nonchialant and slightly condescening attitude of the manager when he and his staff were completely at fault in the matter.
Horrible Service`. While putting new tires on our Jetta the tech lost grip of the compressor hose and it flung around banging our car up from bumper to bumper on one side. They did not offer an apology or explanation and were very flippant in telling us to just get an estimate. We got an estimate the next day $3600.00 plus a rental car for 3 days - and they lost it! In a days time they could not find our estimate!!!! We spent a day running that car around getting estimates and they could not manage to hang on to it. So we had to call around to get it refaxed. The inconvenience was bad enough, and we can understand accidents happen. But to have no regard or for what they had done is unacceptable. I will never go there again!
