Awful, Awful, Awful

Ordered take out Chicken Panang and Chicken Pad Siew. Asked for level 5, medium spice (assumed this was only for the Panang as I had never been asked how I want my Pad Siew). The Panang was soo spicy it was inedible. Tried the Pad Siew-the noodles were dry, no sauce and so hot, again I could not eat it. I called to complain and the manager said I had to bring it back. I have never before called a restaurant because their food was inedible, on top of it , did not offer a refund. So now, I will never go there again, I will write a bad review for their inedible food on every site I can find and tell everyone I know in that neighbor hood NOT to go there. I waitressed for years and gave refunds periodically when things went wrong. I love thai food and am so disappointed in this food. It was also saturday night and No one was in there-that should have been my first clue!!!!!

Favorite Thai Restarant!
by Scheuevr
Love the relaxed, family owned atmosphere of this Thai-Lao restarant. The Pad Thai is truely the best and the EE-Sane rolls are the perfect starter! Service is a little slow, but they get their job done... visit when your in the mood for a relaxing meal.
- Pros: Best Pad Thai, Cute Atmosphere
- Cons: No Parking Lot, Closed on Sundays
Great Authentic Food, Poor Service
by xxnat007xx
Eesane has, by far, the most authentic Thai dishes--none of the thick, drenched in super sweet &sour gravies that plague most of the other Thai restaurants. They're food is refreshingly authentic and simple with some kick if you opt to add some spice to it--which is the only way to go when you go Thai! My favorite dishes are the Singapore Noodles--much better than the Pud Thai noodle dishes that people traditionally order, as well as the Nam Tok which is a beef salad of sorts that you can eat with your fingers by wrapping the beef in lettuce (much more fun than using a spoon or fork)--which, if you really want the Thai experience, eat it like them! The Thai Iced Tea is a great drink to sip with the meal as well.
I'd have to agree that the servers are a bit unattentive so don't expect the greatest dining experience ever, and the place itself could use a makeover (so don't bring a hot date you're trying to impress here). This place is more for casual dining and the food (thank goodness) makes up for the slow and unattentive service. Parking is not that great--you may find yourself circling the block a few times during busy hours of the day, but who cares after you're done eating great food.
- Pros: Great authentic Thai cuisine/Good portions/Good prices
- Cons: Poor service/parking

The food here is excellent and is spicy (I get it as a 5 of 10 and half way through I'm pretty warm) the portions are nice and large so you will deffinetly have some to take home with you. The to go sizes are deffinetly less than what you would get if you ate there which is disappointing, (my to go order was the same size as my doggie bag i took home after I ate there) Now for the negative, the place could without a doubt use a coat of paint and some atmosphere and the servers are pretty slow and seem as though they really could care less about being there or not. Don't let those two negatives stop you from going there the food is GREAT! Try the Thai fried rice and the barbecue pork dumpling/wanton soup.....(The soup was called something like that)
- Pros: Large sizes, great Thai
- Cons: Place needs paint, a few lax servers
gr8 food but seldom open
by wittirit
I disagree with someone who says that the food isnt good at EE Sane. Gr8 food but the real -ve is that they arent open always. Completely unpredictable. One day they are open, the next day they rnt. They need to be more consistent abt this.
- Pros: good food when open, fast when open
- Cons: seldom open, wudnt plan on it
Cheap, large portions, uniniviting ambience, uninspired food, and inattentive service
by ruc2827
This is truly a dive, with uninviting ambiance and no decor. The service is inattentive and unpolished. The food is uninspired. This is my least favorite Thai restaurant in Milwaukee and one of my least favorites anywhere. Thai restaurants on the north side of Chicago an hour and a half away are leaps and bounds better.
- Pros: Large portions, Inexpensive
- Cons: Uninspired food, inattentive service
Most Authentic Thai
by darq
Yes this is the most authentic thai food that I have tasted in a restaurant in the US. Its food is much spicier than the average person can handle but that adds to its authenticity. I recommened any of the stir fried noodle dishes but everything there will delight the tastebud. The thai ice tea is awesome and the lunch menu prices fits a tight budget.
- Pros: food, prices, atmosphere
- Cons: none
It's a good restaurant
by roticle
Good food, relatively easy to find a parking but servers can sometimes be less attentive. The smoking section is not a great place to be during the winter season as it is located right by the entrance. I's recommend takeout for this place.
- Pros: great food, great value, good parking
- Cons: some mean servers, less attentive
best Thai on the east side
by krimsomred
Outstandingly delicious food, romantic and pleasant. You never leave hungry. I highly recommend the Thai ice tea w/cream to go along with anything on the menu. A great place for a first date, anniversary or anything else.
