RUN, DON'T WALK.....AWAY!!!!
by jonjo at Citysearch
Bar none, the worst experience of my life.....I would have been better off going to a beauty school for a haircut. The "Senior" stylist who chopped off my hair listened to NOTHING I said regarding my lifestyle, needs or wants. She cut 8 inches off my hair and then gave me an uneven, choppy, NOTHING style. One side was 2 inches shorter than the other. When I went back for a repair, from the "head" stylist, she actually CHUCKLED and said that she couldn't find a "line" to the cut and that it would take 18 MONTHS, at least, to grow out decently!!!!!! When I demanded my money back, they gave me a GIFT CERTIFICATE! As if I would EVER set foot in that hellhole again.....Please people, do NOT waste your time, money or sanity at this place. It is a disaster waiting to happen........Also, everyone knows that Aveda color is the worst---turns blonde hair orange and fades faster than drugstore color....
- Cons: IT'S ALL A CON

I was just like to say that 90% of the positive reviews here are posted by employees....
BECAUSE THEY WERE TOLD TO!!!!!!!!!!!
Nerolis employees are told at meeting to go on this site and post positive reviews, either as employees or pretend to be customers.
If thats how they treat their employees, imagine how they will treat you.
Please, take your business who will truly appreciate it
- Pros: The talented employees
- Cons: The CRAZY people who run the place
Ugh. Chopped
by CSMobileUser at Citysearch
I was very excited when recommended to get a hair cut here. Been for facials and other services before and always nothing short of excellent. Extremely disappointed with my hair cut from the senior stylist. He asked if he could cut off an inch. I left with about 4 gone and my friends asking me who gave me the aweful layers. Ugh. I should have been forewarnes when my girlfriend went there last year and got a Bon Jovi mullet cut. She didn't wear her hair down for over a month after that. I guess I just think its your hair and no one has permission to do what they think will look good without your permission. It takes a long time to grow it out. I cancelled my color for the next appt. I'm sad because that part he may have done a good job at. Just refuse to let someone have another chance when they lost my trust the first time. Funny thing is it didn't look bad when I left the salon because he had spent an hour w an iron on it before I left. Like I have time to do that every day. And ihad said when I came in that I hate curly/girly hair and go for more edgy. Whatever. Spa services only for me from now on. Back to Matty at Erik or Beauty. . . Sorry
Forever a Neroli Girl

This is the first spa I ever went to and that was years ago. I have dipped and dabbled with others but none can compare in quality and service. Everytime you can expect the same treatment. I go to the downtown location. Upon arrival youre greeted with water or tea and a warm towel for your hands. As you wait for your team member to come and get you, you can look at all the Aveda products-which smell wonderful. Then your led to the changing room and finally to your services. I think what really has me coming back time and time again is the service. You will always get the same level of quality service. I never had to worry about how clean or sanitary it is. I never had to complain or felt uncomfortable. I have always been able to relax my stresses away with Neroli. Thank you Neroli for having such high standards!!
- Pros: Ambiance, prices, service, excellance
Best hair and nails ever
by carolbeth1 at Citysearch
I get my hair cut with Kimberly at brookfield and i always enjoy my experience. I have been seeing her for two years now and she recommended that i see Jill for nails. She bragged about what a great job she did, so i had to try her out. I couldnt be happier i always look foward to coming to neroli. The girls always make me smile, and forget about the stress in my life.
- Pros: beautiful atmosphere, friendly environment
- Cons: nothing
Best Spa Day I've ever had!
by Gem4150 at Citysearch
I've been going to the Neroli in Brookfield for years and just thought I'd share my experience with others who may have not tried one of the Neroli's yet. Every time I come here it is a truly a wonderful experience. The front desk girls are so friendly and truly seem to care about my needs. They greeted me so warm and friendly that it kind of surprised me...you just don't see that much anymore. I love all of them but I recently had a facial with Erica who was so fabulous and sweet. I also had a Spa Mani/Pedi with Alex who also was so talented and nice. The one thing I like most about this place is the amount of services they offer, I definitely intend to try all of them. I've yet to have a service that wasn't extraordinary!
- Pros: location, service options, trained staff
- Cons: none
Awesome yoga!
by JenHogervorst at Citysearch
If you are looking for semi-private yoga lessons, Neroli at Bayshore has a fabulous Iyengar instructor. Jason is a skilled, professional instructor who caters the class to the individual needs of the students. It is a fun workout that will keep you coming back for more, whether you are old, young, advanced or a beginner. I have taken many yoga classes in the past, and this is the first instructor who has kept me interested and excited. I couldn't recommend him more highly and the price is extremely reasonable. If you have any interest in yoga, you must take a class with Jason!
Terrible Customer Service
by mke1977 at Citysearch
I'm in a wedding tomorrow. I tried to make an appointment last week with Kim at Bayshore, who gave me a great haircut last month, but she was totally booked. I asked if anyone else is available and the receptionist on the phone set an appointment with Maya for 9:00 am. What the receptionist didn't tell me was that Maya works in Brookfield. Am I suppose to know this? When I showed up at Bayshore, neither the receptionist or the manager could offer me any explanation. They told me "I wasn't in the computer" and "the computer could have been acting up or they could have made a mistake". Weak apologies and weaker explanations don't make my hair look good in my friend's wedding pictures.
Talented, Friendly and Professional

I recently moved to Milwaukee and had been asking around for recommendations about where to get my hair done. I'm sort of picky, so I asked a LOT of people their opinions. I kept hearing about Neroli over and over. When I asked where they were located I was happy to hear they had a location at Bayshore and the Third Ward!
When I walked in I was promptly greeted with a smile and hot tea. The girls at the front desk were really helpful, and were happy to answer all my questions. They treat you really well when you are there. And my guess as to why they refer to you as a "guest", is because they treat you like you were a guest in their home. You get an awesome shoulder massage and then scalp massage with your shampoo! My hair turned out fantastic and I've already booked my next couple appointments.
I recommend Neroli to everyone who asks, and after visiting both of the locations closest to me, I understand why so many people told me to go there!
- Pros: Staff is friendly and talented
- Cons: parking can be difficult
Best Customer Service Ever!
by citygal08 at Citysearch
The first time I walked into the 3rd ward location,I was unsure on how to feel, everyone was in black and extremely attractive. But, they are sooo nice and sweet. Neroli does have a call center, so you are not calling the front desk directly, but if go enough you get to know the people that work in the call center and they get to know you and they will do everything they can to get you in. One time when my stylist was booked, I asked them if there was anything they could do, they said they would get back to me and they got me in! The owner was in the salon one day and she seemed very interested in talking to the people that were getting their hair done, very approacable. I am getting married next year and cant wait to have them do my hair! They will even arrange limo's and food for you!
- Pros: You leave feeling pampered everytime.
