Unsatisfied Patient

It is not cool when the actual doctor talks negatively about other eye clinics (1st clue) and it is definitely not cool when they call you 45 minutes before you appointment to come in early or reschedule because the doctor needs to leave town to see his family. Not only happened once but a couple of times. The worst, no apologies but to call back "if" I wanted to reschedule. Very poor business attitude considering I have been a patient for over 10 years.

They just lost a patient and any recommendations I have made in the future, definitely told all I have referred there.

They have this high class attitude about them and at times makes you feel unworthy of their services.

Is this for real?

I was just looking for a new eye doctor and someone recommended I read reviews on them. I just finished reading all of these reviews. Is this for real? Because they have a few bad reviews, the supposed office manager gets on and says someone is blackmailing them for money????? Well, if they are blackmailing you, you must know who they are, so do something about it. I think this entire site is a waste of time. It just looks to me like a bunch of people playing games. It makes me wonder why there is so much controversey at this office. I think I'll steer clear of this place and go to the one across the street or down behind the shopping center. I don't see any of this kind of stuff on their websites.

• Cons: Sounds like all the employees and patients are goofy

Please Be Aware

I am the office manager for Knight Vision & Glaucoma Specialists, Inc. For the past year and a half, we have had an individual whom is attempting to blackmail or extort money from this practice. The threat is either we pay, or he (they) will post negetive comments on many different web sites. Please be aware that anyone can post anything about any company on a site like this. All that is needed is an email address and anything can be written even if you've never been to the establishment. There are no safeguards. We have been told this crime is becoming more wide spread.

Please visit the WI Better Buisness Bureau for a reliable review (exactly like the last review suggested) or your medical or vision insurance.

They're Good But The Bad Reviews Are Prob A Scam

I agree with the review below except that I think that the bad reviews are made by some ticked off former employee or some competitor doctor. It really seems though when you see the reviews from most other sites on Citysearch, they are usually left by people who complain and moan. That's pretty much why I don't trust any of these reviews and now just check with the Better Bus Bur. BTW, this guy is excellent

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!!!

I have to say that after reading the reviews on here, I am a little taken aback... I have never had any issues with the staff or the quality of service ever! I have been going there for over 10 years and feel welcomed and well cared for while I am there. I scheduled an appointment a few weeks ago and they actually called me to re-schedule because I am only allowed 1 visit per year and the original appointment was before my 1 year was up. Very nice to see that they check these things before they allow you to come in. Also, Dr. Knight has never been anything but professional with me. He even recommended a phenomenal dermatologist to me because he noticed that I had psoriasis. Couldn't ask for any more! I would and have recommended Knight Vision to my friends and family. I only can say this, for the people who had a bad experience, look in the mirror and make sure that you reflect on how you personally treat others and maybe you won't be mistreated by them!!

Poor Service

This doctor first of all was not there for the first appointment that I booked, although I specifically asked for him. No one told me when they confirmed that he would not be there. The second time I came, he was very rushed and I felt like I was being herded through like one of the cattle. They seem to be very over booked and understaffed. The staff was short with me and not very helpful. The lady in the frame department was downright rude. I was practically in tears when I left. I didn't end up ordering any glasses and I never was given a copy of my prescription. If you are looking for an eye doctor that is compassionate and cares about what you have to say, stay away from this place. All they seem to be interested in is how many patients they can cram through in a day and how much money they can make off of you. I was very disappointed.

Looking for a new eye doctor

I went to this sight to find a new eye doctor, but from everything I've read, I don't think this is the one. I find it odd that the same person keeps writing reviews on here. Don't people normally just write a review and move on? Or does the doctor write his own rebuttals using those same names over and over. I find something a little fishy about this sight. Anyone have a name of a good eye doctor that doesn't work at this place?

Very Good and Professional Care

Ha. I've got to laugh at the other comments. The 2 that were written by AndyB and CarolB...what a joke. What are they a husband and wife ticked off tag team? Sounds fishy to me too. I smell an angry former employee or some other eye doc like the last guy that I went to that went out of business down the street from this place. And who does CarolB get off commenting on someone's looks? That just validates how stupid most of these anonymous sites are. You just need an email address and you can post anything about anyone, just like the last guy said.

I went here about a month ago and they pulled some metal out of my eye. The doctor was nice, didn't say much except what he was doing, but then again, he was drilling into my eye. I was better in 2 days. He checked me and told me that I didn't need glasses. And the office did smell a little like bleach. GOOD. It's clean. What would those other 2 morons like it to smell like, a bathroom? My kids school in West Allis was closed last week because of swine flu. I wish all places took the care that this place does to try and stop the spread of germs. I'll go back without question

Great Experience

Funny. I was reading a couple of different sites tonight and found the same review from the same date but from different people. It sounds like a competitor is leaving these reviews since anyone can post here, even without ever going there.

I had a great experience and it's what I would expect. Doctor Knight was very professional and took his time. The glasses that I bought today weren't the most or the least expensive but they seem to be very good quality. I got them before I left. The staff was nice and the girl that took me back was very, very nice.

Also, the office did smell like bleach, although not too strong. Let me see, there's swine flu and who know's what else floating around and people are complaining about disinfection? Give me a break and get a life.

Review Right On The Money

I went there almost a year ago and had almost an identical experience as AndyB wrote about. The staff was so rude and no one seemed to be very organized. Some horse faced blond woman was at the front desk loudly discussing someone's bill and if I had been that person, I would have been moritified. The lady who took me back was very nice, but the doctor was rude and rushed me through. I also was ignored and waited at their frame counter, but did get glasses there. I had to wait very long because they were made wrong and were sent back to whereever they get their glasses from, and then no one called me when they came in. I finally called myself, went to pick them up, and the prescription was wrong. What a hassel. I would NEVER EVER go there again and tell people to go elsewhere. I agree about the bleach too...smelled like they used it for air freshener....and you could hear everything the doctor said to other patients because they never close the exam room doors!! Isn't there a law about that????
