Fortunately, I wasn't "treated" to the shennanigans of Alberta Rose. I had been in twice in the past, once for a simple Chinese character & then again for a custom-designed piece. Both had been done by an artist named "Cruz" and was really pleased. Did an awesome job with the custom piece especially, getting a working version drawn up on the spot & everything. Much to my dismay, when I went in last year for a piece to accompany the custom one, I was informed that Cruz no longer was there. Talked things over with the guy that was there, showed me some of his past work & thought that I'd get what I was looking for. Said he could make it happen...but I should've turned around and walked out the door when he decided to freehand it. Or when he told me that the cloudline I was going for (intricate, detailed) was 'going to look stupid' and opted to go for his own design of large puffs, which turned out looking TERRIBLE. This, coupled with the fact it was uneven done in light ink. Told me that once it healed, I could come back and if anything needed to be fixed, it would. Stopped back in and expressed my displeasure about the cloudline...was again told that it would look stupid. Ended up being smart and just turned around and left. Have been walking around now for about a year and am finally seeking an artist to fix this work that was done. For $200...geez. TERRIBLE. I can't even tell you. Well...$250 after tip. I will NEVER, NEVER step foot in there again & I'd advise that you don't either. I throw out a verbal red flag anytime someone mentions the shop.

Pros: Easy To Find Location.

Cons: Bad parking. Skill lacking.

I agree 100% with dblouie. I too had a bad experience with the owner Alberta Rose. She is not a very friendly person. She does not even acknowledge you when you walk in the door, unless you say "excuse me, can I be helped"! Well, she first had to finish her lunch before she was able to help me! I did make a big mistake by not pricing various shops before entering Wild Rose. Unfortunately, I had found out afterwards how much money I could have saved by going somewhere else. I was charged $175 for a simple arm band, which elsewhere would have costed me $70 - $80! Needless to say, I was upset. A couple of her employees are very nice people though. I had my first tattoo done by Scott, very nice person. He had given me a deal on my first tattoo there. The second time I had gone there, Scott quoted me a cost for a nice sized tattoo on my back shoulder, $150. Well, when I came back to get it done, Scott was not there, unfortunately the owner Alberta Rose was. I had told her Scott quoted me $150 for this tattoo the previous day. She was very upset and said Scott had no authority to do that, and that the quote was way too low. So she upped my cost to $225! Unbelievable! I should have just walked out the door! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Wild Rose Tattoo is a Scam. The Owner,(Alberta Rose) Charged me $250.00 for a complete tattoo. She ran out of time before she finished the artwork. Her verbal agreement was, "This is all I can do right now,I have an appointment to take care of right now,come back in 2 weeks when it's healed up and I'll finish it for you". Well, Alberta Rose Avoided me for 5 weeks ! I continuously went to her shop, And called her shop for an appointment to complete the artwork for 5 weeks after the tattoo was healed (7 weeks after initial ink was applied) with no reply. I Finally talked to 3 of her artists in the shop. They told me I'm not the first customer unhappy with Alberta's work or Business ethics. They told me that they Often finish Alberta's work because she either can't do it (no talent) or she's too "out of it". Alberta gets VERY AGITATED QUICKLEY for no reason at all. Witch results in a BOTCHED TATTOO FOR LIFE! When I finally contacted her for an appointment,( I had to rely on her subordinants to let me know when Alberta was in the shop) She told me it would be More Money to complete my Tattoo. Witch was NOT the initial agreement. When I protested about the price she told me " I Knew you were going to be trouble, don't come here any more I don't want you in my shop anymore" Needless to say, I have an incomplete tattoo on my forearme that is So Genaric that it looks like a CARTOON ! I will have to pay another TRUE ARTIST to finish the work the Right Way! No Problem there. I just want the TRUTH about WILD ROSE TATTOO on 27th St. Milwaukee Wisconsin to come out. ALBERTA ROSE is a Very Bad Business Person. The shop has No Business Ethics. After my Fiasco with this Tattoo shop, I have talked to 8 past customers of WILD ROSE TATTOO. They ALL have the SAME STORY to tell. They were ALL Over Charged or BANNED FROM THE SHOP if they Protested the price. In my opinion, WILD ROSE TATTOO is NOT where you want to go for a Tattoo.
