Great Haircuts and Color!

I have been going to Harpo's since it has opened and can't imagine a friendier, more comfortable atmosphere. I have always been happy with my cut and color. I also bring my kids to have hair cuts here and they have been great as well. This is NOT your typical Northshore snotty, attitude filled salon. Harpo's reflects Whitefish Bay and it's stylish, friendly and unpretentious community!

• Pros: Experienced stylists, relaxed atmosphere.
• Cons: The smell of the bakery next door tempts me to indulge in doughnuts!

Completely Satisfied over and over again!

I've been getting my hair cut at Harpo's for a few years now and every time, I leave there completely satisfied! I have never had a bad haircut and my stylist always has great intuition about what would look good on ME! The staff has come to know me by name and they are all very friendly. I would definitely recommend Harpo's to my friends and family!

Best Hair Salon

I was nervous about going to a new salon after having the same stylist for 20+ years but Harpo's is great. Meghan did a FABULOUS job on my hair (cut and amazing color) and my son's and Becky was great with my daughter's hair! They took a lot of time to make sure the cuts fit our lifestyles and that we could recreate them on our own. From the moment we entered the salon we felt at home, as if we had known Peggy and her "girls" forever. Can't wait to see them again!

• Pros: Friendly, talented staff who are "real" people, not above the rest of us
• Cons: None!

I have recommended Harpo's to anyone l know who is looking for a hair stylist and have never heard anything but raving reviews. The atmosphere is inviting and energetic. Regardless of your age or style, you can find what you are looking for with the diverse skills of their stylists. I guarantee once you go, YOU WILL WANT TO GO BACK!

Harpos offers the best service i have ever incountered. Not only do they offer freindly, warming, energetic personalities, but a vas aray of diversity. A quaint little, humble shop located in beautiful Whitefish Bay, Wi offers haircuts of creativity and up to date trends and fashions. Always looking and doing more education so that when you walk in that door by the time you leave you are leaving with the latest trends. This is also a plus do to the fact that Harpos offers a color educator and stylist the works with the top of the line color based out of Italy called Framesi. An enviornment i hope everyone will experiance because you will not be let down. Not to mention reasonable for your wallet.

Go Harpos, you have one devoted client and im sure a thousand more!!!!!!

An Establishment of the Highest of Tastes

I first walked into Harpo's a little over one year ago. It was after being the victim of a deplorable haircut at one of those quick, walk-in places that are advertised on television. To my delight, the monstrosity upon my head was rectified and transformed into a handsome work of art.

I was never one to give much thought to the appearance of my hair, but my experience at Harpo's changed that. I have been a devoted client of that stylist who first helped me ever since.

The entire staff is comprised of devoted professionals--artists--who possess the finest of skills ranging from hair styling to hair coloring among many other specialties. A newly certified professional hair color educator is even on board capable of meeting all your hair color needs!

The staff not only brings a certain high level of taste and experience but also create a friendly and welcoming environment. Always a hoot to walk-right-in and see all the pretty, smiling faces. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Current styles, inviting atmosphere, excellent customer service!

I went to Harpo's for the first time a month ago - based on a friend's recommendation - and LOVED it! The stylists were all super friendly and everyone talked to everyone! I left feeling like I had made 10 new friends...hairdressers and clients alike! The shop had a wide range of ages and hair lengths and hairdos happening...there were some very trendy styles being delivered along with some more traditional coifs being done..Harpo's seems to have the right stylist available for everyone! The decor is eclectic and delightful! The building is very historical and the shop has some history of its own...ask the owner - Peggy...she'll let you in on a few hair-raising secrets about her antique surroundings!!! The shop is conveniently located near the new Bayshore shopping center, which means you can shop till you're ready to drop...right into your stylist's chair and relax and enjoy! I sure did!

• Pros: Ambience, Service & Parking were all awesome
• Cons: none come to mind!

Best Haircuts and Colors in Milwaukee

Harpo's is a great salon. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. It is a place that feels like home. I have always loved my haircut and color! Not only do I get my haircut there but all my friends now go there too! I have never encountered a dissatisfied customer. If you want a great hair cut, friendly stylists and a comfortable, relaxed environment you should definitely go to Harpo's Salon!! I highly recommend it!

Fabulous Hair Salon!

I love going to Harpos - Seriously, my hair always looks fabulous when I walk out of the door. I love my personal stylist but I've seen what everyone there can do and would go to any stylist there. The atmosphere is laidback yet classy and creative - you never feel intimidated when walking in because everyone is always happy to see you there. I've been to tons of other hair salons and Harpos is definatley at the top of my list - affordable prices and most importantly, great looking hair!
