Carenza Color Cutting Experience

The place is decorated nicely and the cut was ok but the highlights I got were nothing but horrible - orange/yellow and my hair was so dry. I have had highlights in the past and there were no problems but the stylist didn't use heat or keep the color on long enough. I shouldn't have to tell someone what to do especially for $200. Waste of money.

Pros: You can empty your wallet of all those annoying green pieces of paper

Cons: Your hair will look awful.

Being that it's only a day after Thanksgiving, I felt it was important to give a special thanks to the place that leaves me smiling after every visit...I have most recently gotten my hair cut for the third time and every experience I've had at Carenza has been exceptional...It starts from the moment I walk in, to the moment I leave. It's so relaxing and gives you that comfortable feeling that you can't find anymore...The layout of the salon is fabulous and its interior design is remarkable...The customer service has been outstanding and more importantly my hair cuts are amazing...The young lady that cuts my hair is Stephanie...I'm always greeted with the biggest smile, and a nice conversation to go along with it...She allows me to keep the hair cut I have if I prefer it, otherwise she always has some new updated style that is way ahead of the trends...It's like the styles that celebrities always have in magazines, that we always wish our hair could look like...My co-workers and more importantly my wife are constantly complimenting my new hair style and say that I always get what they call "model cuts"...I feel great and in turn that reflects not ony my work but also my attitude...Thanks to the place that makes me feel that way..."Carenza" I'm so happy and realize I'm fortunate to have such a great place so close to where my family lives...Take it for what its worth but anytime you leave a place in today's society feeling like a million bucks, its a very special feeling...Thanks again...

When first walking into Carenza in Brookfield, the bright coloring and unique music makes it a fun place to be. The large plasma screen TV's mounted on the walls in the lobby area plays different types of shows, mostly pertaining to top hair stylists and a few top fashion designers. The wide variety of hair products (Bumble and Bumble, my favorite, and Aveda products) make it easy for a person to waste time before waiting for their appointment. They also have a full makeup counter, a nail salon and waxing as well. Carenza's stylists exude large amounts of professionalism, but are also friendly and it is easy to form hair-stylist and client relationships. I have had two different hair stylists at Carenza and both are fabulous. It is extremely easy to communicate my ideas with them and they're always asking questions to confirm what exactly I want. The best part about Carenza (besides walking out and feeling like a million bucks) is the "blue room". Calming music, a soothing aqua / light blue wall and amazing massage chairs make it a wonderful place to have your hair washed. The stylist tops it off with a heavenly head massage. I highly recommend my stylists, Erik or Rosa.

Pros: friendly staff, unique atmosphere, talented stylists, head message.

Cons: takes about two weeks to get in, depending on stylist. Expect to pay a little more for more experienced stylists.

The new Carenza is in Brookfield, near the mall. I'm new to Mikwaukee and needed a colorist. Recommended by someone and just looked online about the place. I saw all the stylists and was able to search the perfect colorist with the best experience. The place was beautiful and so modern. I love it there and my colorist is perfect for me. I like a place that's open about their stylists and shows all their bios to compare what person I need for my individual needs. By showing their bios, it encourages the staff to constantly better themselves. This place is always busy, I have to book 3 months in advance just to see my colorist, amazing.

Pros: calm, very modern decor, friendly staff

Cons: very booked

The new Carenza is awesome and when you sit down to get your hair wash the chair massages you . It is a great experience . I highly recommend it to anyone .

Pros: Give you drinks, listen to you, fun atmosphere

Cons: little expensive

I love Carenza, they may be a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for! I have been there twice, each time getting a dramatic new look. When I walked out of there I got so many compliments!! I loved the feel of the place also. The employees are so down to earth and really listen to how you want your hair to look!

Finally, a real good hairday! Its the best! If you ask for it a specific way, you get it! Look real sharp, consistantly... They even put into a computer what they do each time, no need to re-explain!

Pros: great haircut, organized, no-nonsense
